YAY Glamping

Santa Marta, Colombia

This eco-retreat redefines sustainable luxury, blending the soul of Colombia’s indigenous heritage with a refined, organic design that breathes serenity into every detail. Surrounded by tropical gardens, natural ponds, and the gentle flow of the Guachaca River, YAY Glamping invites travellers to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the rhythm of the earth. Every structure is a testament to bio-construction, built from guadua bamboo, local palm, and adobe: timeless materials that honor both environment and tradition.

Its culinary philosophy celebrates the garden-to-table experience, using ingredients grown onsite or sourced from local farmers to craft dishes that nourish both body and soul. Between yoga sessions in the bamboo shala, holistic treatments in the Jungle Spa, and quiet moments by the natural pool, guests find themselves immersed in a landscape that feels both ancient and alive.

The architecture of YAY Glamping merges ancestral wisdom with modern eco-design. Inspired by the traditional Kogui round houses and the elegant lines of Indonesian bamboo architecture, each structure is handcrafted using local guadua bamboo, adobe walls, and palm-thatched roofs. This organic architecture not only minimises environmental impact but also harmonizes with the surrounding jungle, allowing the property to breathe as one with nature.
