Contemporary
Casa Izel’s architecture is of the boutique-contemporary type, built into a building that nods to more historical precedents while being thoroughly modern in interior layout and finish. The structure respects its context in Roma Norte—where façades of older houses and mansions mix with modern interventions—yet it does not attempt anachronistic replication. Instead, there is a blend: large windows for natural light, terraces and rooftop spaces to integrate indoor-outdoor living, and clean modern lines in furnishings and finishings. The design balances elegance, minimalism, and warmth: durable materials, muted palettes, and an emphasis on space and light rather than heavy ornamentation.
