Contemporary
The architecture is thoughtfully designed to respect its natural surroundings while offering a minimalist yet warm living experience. Elevated slightly above the rocky terrain, the house integrates a private pool without extensive excavation, blending seamlessly with the landscape. Its rectangular geometry and clean stucco walls are finished with artisanal lime-based paints mixed with mineral pigments, giving them a rich, tactile quality. Large folding cedar-wood doors with operable shutters allow guests to regulate light and airflow, creating natural cross-ventilation and a constant sense of freshness.
Inside, the home unfolds with an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space bathed in natural light thanks to its double-height ceiling. A mezzanine level serves as the bedroom, while the bathroom below features an open-sky shower that enhances the intimate connection with the outdoors. Every material — from the handcrafted woodwork to the smooth stucco surfaces — has been selected to create a space that is both functional and deeply sensory.
