Hotel Slottsvillan

Huskvarna, Sweden

Slottsvillan is a magnificent historic landmark perched amidst lush greenery on Hakarpsvägen in Huskvarna. Originally constructed between 1895 and 1896 as the director’s residence for Wilhelm Tham of Husqvarna Weapons Factory, it served as a home for his large family of nine children. Today, the villa has been carefully transformed into a boutique hotel, where echoes of history meet modern comfort in a serene, park-like setting.

Inside Slottsvillan, visitors are greeted by soaring ceilings, elegant stucco work, columns, and charming wooden floors: all evoking the elegance of a bygone era. The individually decorated rooms feature influences from English and Scottish manor style, with turret rooms, rustic furnishings, and modern amenities harmoniously integrated. The owners, Christian and Michaela, have crafted a warm, personal atmosphere, making every corner of the villa both sophisticated and inviting.
