Minimalist
Sunflower House is a premier example of Fractal Minimalism and Solar-Responsive Design. The architecture is defined by ten distinct cubes oriented toward different points of the horizon. This fragmented geometry allows the house to break the force of the northern winds while creating a series of internal courtyards that act as thermal buffers. The use of white continuous surfaces and expansive glazing emphasizes the "Green-and-Blue" contrast typical of the Cap de Creus natural park.
