This upgrade enables a direct, streamlined, and far more efficient integration compared to our previous setup, especially when it comes to improving accuracy in payment processing and operational syncing across platforms.
This new connection represents a significant leap forward in communication between both brands, reinforcing CAOBA’s position as the trusted marketplace for exclusive accommodations, supported by solid and forward-thinking technology partners. Most importantly, it strengthens our long-standing commitment to direct bookings, the pillar that has guided our vision since day one.
We begin this new chapter with tremendous excitement, and here’s why.

1. A Gateway for More PMS-Connected Properties
While Cloudbeds remains the primary PMS for most CAOBA Hotels partners, the new API has been developed with future interoperability in mind.
Properties that do not use Cloudbeds directly, but connect through systems already integrated with Cloudbeds, such as Siteminder, Sabre (SynXis), Charlie, and others, will also be able to connect to CAOBA via API.
This flexible architecture prepares CAOBA for broader expansion, enabling us to welcome more boutique hotels into our curated ecosystem while maintaining the same high-quality standards.

2. Enhanced Marketplace Visibility
The new integration also unlocks a next step for our brand: being publicly listed in the Cloudbeds Marketplace. This upcoming visibility will strengthen connections with new properties seeking a curated marketplace that stays true to authenticity, experience, and exceptional hospitality.

3. A Simpler Integration Experience
Despite the high level of functionality and connectivity, the integration process is incredibly easy. Hotels joining CAOBA simply follow a few steps outlined in the PDF guide we share with our current and future partners.
For hoteliers who prefer a fully hands-off approach, our team can also handle the integration on their behalf. Once the setup is complete, we can remove access to their PMS API, maintaining security and peace of mind.
This ease of onboarding ensures that technology is never a barrier for those who want to join the CAOBA community.
