A Design Inspired by Oaxaca
Designed by the BAAQ’ studio (Alfonso Quiñones), Casa Naila is located on a pointed plot of land in El Puertecito, just 20 km from Puerto Escondido. Its structure consists of four independent volumes arranged around a cross-shaped central patio, allowing for direct ocean views from every space.
The ground-level volumes, made of concrete, frame views to the south and east, while the upper levels, constructed with wood and palm-bone cladding, provide cross-ventilation, natural shade, and an aesthetic presence that resembles a lighthouse from afar.
Authentic Comfort and Immersive Experience
Casa Naila can host up to 10 guests across 4 ensuite bedrooms, distributed among separate buildings. The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor areas, a living room, a swimming pool, and daily housekeeping and cooking services available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Inside, each room features clay and earthen floors, along with elements like a traditional clay stove—offering thermal comfort and a genuine connection to Oaxacan culture.
An Open and Welcoming Atmosphere
The house has no perimeter fences or gates, encouraging direct access to the beach. It’s not uncommon for local visitors to stop by and enjoy the pool or terrace, creating a natural and friendly interaction between guests and the surrounding community.
