A few months ago, our CAOBA MEDIA team (media@caobahotels.com) traveled to Almagro, a timeless village in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, to capture the essence of one of its most charming corners: La Casa del Rector.

Almagro: Beyond the Theater
Almagro is known for its Corral de Comedias and baroque atmosphere, but we discovered it also hides more intimate secrets. During our stay, the CAOBA MEDIA team explored every space, camera in hand. The photos and videos we captured don’t just show what it looks like—they reflect what it feels like: a serene calm that contrasts beautifully with the hotel’s powerful aesthetic.
The rooms—available in three styles: Classic, Modern, and Zen—were a true visual gift. Textured walls, natural light, and carefully curated decor offered us a fully immersive sensory experience.
A Place Where Time Stands Still
We were amazed by how La Casa del Rector balances tradition and modernity. You can find yourself in a steam bath surrounded by centuries-old stone… or sipping a glass of wine in a contemporary-style lounge. That contrast became the visual narrative of our photo and video shoot.
And the spa? An experience in itself: stone, silence, subtle aromas… and cameras off—out of respect for the stillness. (Yes, we know when to put the lens down.)
