Casa Liquen

Chacala, Mexico

Casa Liquen rises gently above the golden shoreline of Chacala, Mexico, offering travellers a sanctuary shaped by sunlight, ocean breezes, and the timeless rhythm of the Pacific. Once conceived as a private seaside retreat and later transformed into a boutique hideaway, the property embodies the soul of slow living. Its terraced levels, natural textures, and warm clay tones echo the landscapes that surround it, creating a harmony between architecture and nature.

Every corner of Casa Liquen is crafted to inspire rest. Rooms open to lush gardens or glimpses of the sea, allowing mornings to begin with birdsong and evenings to unfold under a canopy of stars. Queen-size Therapedic mattresses, artisanal flooring, soft palettes, and thoughtful amenities complement the tranquil ambiance. Guests drift between the pool, shaded terraces, hammocks, and breezy rooftops — each space inviting stillness and reflection.

Casa Liquen’s design tells a story of gentle transformation: a family home reborn as a boutique lodging that nurtures simplicity and comfort. Here, travellers find a soulful pause, footsteps from Chacala Beach, where waves whisper against the shore and the horizon glows with enduring serenity. It is a place where time stretches, senses heighten, and the beauty of Mexico’s Pacific coast becomes unforgettable.
