Estancia Rilán embodies the vernacular architecture of Chiloé, characterised by its integration with the natural environment and use of indigenous materials. The design features a central family home surrounded by auxiliary structures, reminiscent of traditional Patagonian ranches. This layout not only fosters a sense of community but also optimises natural light and ventilation, ensuring comfort throughout the year.
