- Find Us: Search for Caoba Hotels in the Cloudbeds Marketplace or browse the Booking Engine category.
- Connect: Click Log In / Iniciar Sesión in the green button, select your property, and authorise the integration.
- Done: That's it. Once connected, our team takes care of the rest.
What Happens After You Connect?
Automated Synchronisation & Pricing. Your property details, room identifiers, and live rates are imported automatically from Cloudbeds. By default, a 12% markup is applied to your published rates, and your account is set to the Hotel Collect payment method (detailed in the section below).
Hassle-Free Content Optimisation. Our team will curate and elevate your property profile, highlighting its unique design, architecture, experiences, and activities. Upon connecting via the Marketplace, you will receive an email requesting your preferred copy and imagery. To ensure a seamless launch, if we don't receive a response within 72 hours, our team will proactively build your profile using the public content and visual assets from your official website.
Real-Time Rate & Inventory Updates. CAOBA integrates natively with your live Cloudbeds data, ensuring your pricing and availability stay perfectly accurate. Any rate changes, availability closures, or newly published public rate plans in your PMS are instantly and automatically reflected on CAOBA to eliminate the risk of overbookings.
Flexible Payment Models
Hotel Collect (Default Method). Under this model, your property retains complete control over the transaction cycle. Starting July 1st, every reservation secured through CAOBA will safely capture and transfer the guest’s credit card details directly into your Cloudbeds PMS.
- Payment Management: Handled exclusively by the hotelier. You are responsible for processing and charging the full reservation amount directly at the property.
- CAOBA Commission: A fixed 12% net commission per booking (independent of your chosen markup strategy).
- Transaction Fees: No additional platform or transaction fees are applied by CAOBA.
- Billing & Reconciliation: Simple and consolidated. At the end of each semester (with the first cutoff in December 2026), CAOBA will send a consolidated report of all processed stays. We will issue a single tax invoice to the hotelier for the accumulated commissions to be settled.
Stripe (CAOBA) Connect (Preferred Method). Designed for ultimate operational efficiency, this model utilises automated split-payment technology to eliminate manual billing, collections, and invoicing entirely.
- Payment Management: Split and settled instantly. At the exact moment a guest books, the transaction is automatically divided at the gateway level.
- Fund Flow: Your agreed base rate flows cleanly and directly into your connected Stripe account, while CAOBA’s 12% commission is automatically routed to our account in real time.
- Platform Fees: A standard 3% fee applies to cover automated transaction processing and Stripe gateway operations.
- Billing & Reconciliation: 100% hands-free. Supporting invoices are automatically generated by the system for every transaction, ensuring your accounting is always perfectly reconciled without manual intervention.
